With so much to see, and on occasion, not much time to see it all in, it's sometimes worth getting a helping hand. Local tour guides can
drive you to sites of interest (preventing you from getting lost!) and tell you about the history and some of the theories behind each site (should you forget your guide book!) Orkney Tour guides are inexpensive, friendly and knowledgeable.
Always telephone first to ensure that your choice of guide is visiting the places you would like to see on the day you wish to travel with them. Some guides speak different languages - be sure to ask!
