There aren't many high street shops in Orkney. No Marks and Spencers, no Next, no Homebase. That's not to say that Orcadians don't buy nice things for themselves or for their friends and family, when there are 
lovely local shops and locally produced crafts.

The influence, materials and inspiration of Orkney and it's landscape have pushed craftsmen and craftswomen of the county to produce goods of the very highest standard. The goods produced are unique and are made with love and dedication.
